Description stephan.grahl 2010-09-23 01:40:13 UTC
Sometimes (nearly every 3 to 5 days) the alarm of my radio do simply nothing at the configured alarm time!
No sound of my radiostation (configured) over my whs
No fallback alarm
No wake up of my whs
Simply nothing!

I realized, when I waked up one hour too late and so I came too late to work!!

I've had the same issues on my Squeezebox Boom on both 7.5.3 and 7.5.4. My alarm is set up for weekdays. Often the Monday alarm will not sound. My Windows Home Server (WHS v1, Powerpack 3) is on all the time so it isn't an issue of the server not waking up, which may be different than the original bug.

The failure happens whether set to play an internet radio, a sound, or an audio file (WMA or MP3). The failure is not every day. Sometimes I will have headphones plugged in, other times not. I have checked that the Boom is connected to the server immediately after some failures. The failure is more likely to happen if I have put the player in standby, like when I listen to music at night and set it to sleep after the song.

I'll gladly capture some information for you if that would help.
