Description Kris Murphy 2010-09-14 15:08:17 UTC
When a device is accessing test.mysqueezebox.com via SBServer, I can add WiMP to My Apps and enable it on the device, but when I select "Display on home menu" it does not display on the device's home menun, only in My Apps.

Not sure if this is a limitation of the SBServer/Mysqueezebox.com relationship, but from a user perspective it seems like it should work.

That's working fine here. I have WiMP in my Radio's home menu whether I'm connected to mysb.com or SBS.

Kris to find more detail

This is indeed working. As Michael said I wasn't waiting long enough for SBS to query mysqueezebox.com for an update.

I am unable to get this working properly using SBS and WiMP live on the production server. I have all of my devices set to "display on home menu" and have left the setup for several hours, still WiMP is only showing in My Apps, not the Home Menu.

Michael, can you check to see if this is working for you with WiMP on the production server?

Definitely working here.

BTW: this bug is about it not showing up in SBS, not mysb.com.

I think I see the same bug, with a slight difference...

I am able to have a Wimp on my home menu when connected to my local sbserver. But it wants to connect to mysb.com when I press it, which is quite annoying. In "My programs", the Wimp application works locally.

I have not been able to put the "local" wimp application in the home menu. Removing whimp from the home menu at mysb.com did not help.
