Unable to change settings under Vista running Squeezeplayer 7.5.1 with squeezebox server 7.5.2 beta (latest as of 8 sep 2010). No special settings set on PC as regards ports on the Vista Business edition PC. PCTools firewall installed. The player plays (music plays and now playing shows correctly) but needs to be controlled from the squeezebox server entirely.
