Description Nigel Collins 2010-08-25 02:46:17 UTC
If I tune to a specific station (e.g. Radio 4) and then turn the radio off, the next time I turn it on then the programme displayed on the screen will be the same one as when it was switched off.

Example the SB Radio was displaying "Tonight" at 11pm yesterday, when I turned it on this morning it was still showing "Tonight". I had to retune to another station and then back to Radio 4 for the display to update.

Firmware: 7.5.1-r9009

The Radio also fails to update the display as radio programmes move from one to the next and only tuning away from current station and back again fixes the problem.

Will happily add a screenshot but not sure that would help

This occurs with the BBC and a few other providers. The correct program title is provided when connecting to the stream but the stream provides no metadata updates. This is really a problem with the stream provider.

However, there may be a case when a stream is paused and the resumed (which will usually result in a reconnect unless the pause was brief), where the new title is not updated correctly.
