Description Kevin Pearsall 2005-06-08 11:24:16 UTC
Eliminate the Analog Audio, Digital Optical, and Digital Coax
connectors on the back of the unit and the circuitry to support them
to save manufacturing costs. We only need the headphone jack.

And the pony. Don't forget to eliminate the pony.

Couldn't the digital out be muxed through the geekport / headphone jack anyway?

Then you could add an "Audiophile Kit" for an extra $100-$200. Make it a big ugly rackmount thing
(containing only two connectors and some wire, and a power input for good measure) and you'll sell
plenty.

This is really not the kind of request we need to track in Bugzilla.
