Description Felix Mueller 2010-08-18 02:06:07 UTC
From the forums:

I had a similar issue with a stale PID file preventing smbd start-up.
It happend while running some file access tests and I was assuming I
had crashed smnd in a very weired configuration. But it looks like
there are other fellows, too.
It looks like SqueezeOS doesn't clean up PID files during boot. Or does
it ?
Maybe it's necessary to add some clean up to the boot process.
