Description michael123 2010-08-13 13:58:05 UTC
Hi

sometimes when I click on tray icon, http://127.0.0.1:9000/ is used even though I have port 9001.

When I double-click second time, I have it right: http://127.0.0.1:9001/

The bug existed also with previous version, 7.5.1

First time, when the wrong port is shown, it wouldn't open correctly, right? Does it matter whether you click the icon to start SBS or whether it's been running for a while?

Right, the browser displays 'page not found' error.

I think it happens (when it happens) when SB3 was already running

I'm still not able to reproduce this. Please feel free to re-open if this issue still exists. Thanks!

Hi
Mmm.. Do I need a special version of Squeezeserver?
I have this at the moment - 7.6.0 - r31461 @ Fri Oct 22 02:08:56 PDT 2010
and every 5-10 clicks on tray icon, the URL is opened with port '9000'..

please advise if I can turn some logging, it is quite annoying..

I uploaded screenshot of settings on my computer.. Could it be that because mysqueezebox is using port 9000, I sometimes get web interfaces opened with :9000 and not :9001?

What Windows version are you running? Where is your server.prefs stored?

I'm sorry to say, I can't reproduce this. There must be something really specific about your installation or we would see more of these reports.

Hi
it is Windows 7.
Server.prefs is in default location, under C:\ProgramData\Squeezebox\prefs

Did you change the port from default 9000 to 9001?

Do you think I can add somewhere a small trace so it will help you to track down the issue?

I think this was happening before on my previous laptop, so I do not think it is an installation issue, but rather connected to non-default port..
Also, I reinstalled this beta version few times...

What is the meaning of Windows (legacy)?
