Description Ryan 2010-08-05 10:37:00 UTC
9023 The MP candidate. The factory test, test tone mixed does not play continuously. The tone stops by itself. This tone is used during the Out of Box audit tests in the the Factory. T short duration of the tone may not be long enough for the operators to verify both the speaker and headset before the tone stops.

I think the problem with the test tones is the bug with encoder padding that was only fixed in 7.6. The easiest fix for the factory firmware is to strip the LAME header out of the test tones.
