to my knowledge I had not altered the firmware

I came down to work on monday and it was displaying the window that you get
after a system crash

that window was unresponsive so i rebooted, and then it went into a crash loop

there was no SD card in the controller, and booting to previous firmware
(vol-up) did not change the behavior
