Description Kuno 2010-07-25 02:46:27 UTC
I have the touch (wired Network) configured as server together with a USB 2.5-inch HDD. sometimes when synchronizing the radio (wireless) to the touch (wired) there is a noticeable offset between them. happens for music library and internet radio. switching forth and back between different songs and/or different radio stations the two units get nicely in sync. also getting out of sync and getting back into sync sometimes solves the problem, but not as fast as the switching to a different radio station or song in the library.

Summary:
touch is playing e.g. song from library or radio station, is connected to wired Ethernet, is squeeze server, no other squeeze server running in the network.
radio is synchronized to touch and slight offset after about 1 sec of complete silence (I assume needed for syncing).
swithing forth and back between songs and/or radio stations gets them perfectly in sync.

forgot: radio and touch are running the latest firmware as of 2010-07-23

I cannot reproduce this with either local music or internet radio (using the Touch as the server).
