7.5.1 
There are specific conditions when I get this behavior

In the morning my alarm has gone off and I have turned off the alarm, followed by turning the unit off "soft off" or sleep mode. 

In the evening I select a preset button. The unit wakes up and plays 10-15 seconds then goes back to sleep mode. If I select the same preset button again the unit wakes up displays the station but will not play, I need to select another preset to get the unit to play. 

If I have been playing the unit and turn it off, then wake it up with a preset button it will wake up an play fine. It is only when I turn it off after an alarm that I will have the the unit sleep again after a few seconds.

I believe I am seeing the same thing, but when connected to mySB, not using any alarms and selecting the station with SqueezeCommander.
