Description g1234512345g 2010-06-12 00:20:28 UTC
On some mp3's, I'm consistently getting a loud, nasty click/pop sound at the very end of the song near -0 seconds, whether it's transitioning to another song or stopping. This only happens on Touch and on Squeezeplay with SBS 7.5.0, but does not happen in:

SoftSqueeze
SB3
Foobar2000
Windows Media Player

This only happens for a few of my mp3's. Given none of the other players have the problem, I suspect it's something with Touch/Squeezeplay's decoding.

One sample file is attached.

I'm getting clicks when sample rates are changing. Do you know the sample rate of this file? If its sample rate is something other than 44.1 (say 48) then this would explain the clicks.

Do you have other files that you know have a sample rate greater 44.1 you could try? What I'm getting at is that it may be a sample rate issue rather than a MP3 specific issue.

Foobar2000 and SBS report the sample rate as 44100hz. I haven't experienced clicks on my few non-44.1khz files.
