would it eventually re-connect? What's your collection size?

8,000 FLAC songs, about 200g

No, I have to re-boot.  This started with 7.5.1, with 7.5 it would work (With 7.5 it would report that more than 100 songs selected and that playlist is limited to 100, then it would play)

ok, its working (sort of) with 7.5.1 r8826.  Only issue now it that when the playlist is built (and limited as expected to 100 songs), the players (both Touch and SBRadio) are stopped, "￭" and I have to hit play.

TinySC will not be updated any more.
