Radio log with SqueezePlay.UI debug flag enabled

Running Radio with firmware r8789 and playing Deezer->My Music->Top Charts
track. While playing a track the front panel buttons are inoperative. These are
buttons like Home, Alarm, More, Back, REW, Play. Volume and mute are also
inoperative. Power is unaffected, and you can hold down button to power off
unit.

This only happens when Now Playing screen is shown on the screen. If use an IR
remote to navigate, all navigation appears to work OK. Once navigated to
another screen (like Home), all front panel buttons appear to work again. Once
you navigate to Now Playing, those buttons are inoperative again.

The LCD brightens when a button is pressed, despite the fact that the button's
function does not work.

Issue seems to happen more often with first track on Top Chart for a country,
but not always.

Turned on SqueezePlay.UI debugging for attached log.

Reproduced on two production level Radios.

To repro, go to Deezer->My Music->Top Charts. I usually pick Belgium and the press Play button on first track. If that track has "Audio stream failed, skipping to next track. Deezer ...." error, press left and scroll down to next track and press Play button until track actually plays.

Once track finishes, the next track on the country playlist will play. For some tracks, the problem will occur. On other tracks, no problem. If you encounter issue and volume is too loud, use IR remote to turn down sound.

Deezer tracks are MP3 128kbps CBR.

I am targeting this one for 7.5.1 for now in case it turns out to be a bug in SqueezePlay. If it does turn out to be a just a bug in SqueezeNetwork we can reassess this bug at that time.

FYI, I've reproduced this once now with Deezer.

Visually I saw a next track come in and style the window without a progress bar (this would be consistent with metadata that has no duration data), and a few seconds later the progress bar appears. When the progress bar appeared is when I saw the bug manifest.

reproduced again...exactly the same behavior-- window initially appears with no progress bar, then when it appears the bug manifests.

In cases when the bug does not manifest (which is about 95% of the time), the progress bar is immediately visible on track change.
