Looking at the post from our T2 agent in the internal Logi forum, it looks like the customer using a 250 GB SSD connected to an external usb hub/docking station is having some success with this setup.

Steven, Mickey points out since these are all quite large drives, that perhaps the problem could be related to large libraries. Mickey apparently has one or more of these; could you talk to him about getting one and putting a large library on it?

For future comments, I asked Julius to also see if he can learn how large the music libraries are that are having this problem.

I have been having these problems. I have a 1.5TB WD Elements external hard drive. It has roughly 600 GB of music on it. The Squeezebox Touch is directly connected to the internet (not using wireless).

I'm using the internal Squeezebox Server. I let the hard drive scan before doing anything. It'll take between 40 seconds to a minute to pull up a song. Once a song is pulled up, the rest of the songs on the album play fine. If I try to find another song while one is playing, it'll often jam and lose connection. It'll often reconnect and then after a few minutes, the song I select won't play, but the song immediately after it will play.

TinySC will not be updated any more.
