wouldn't this be Product: SqueezeBox2 then?  Can you enter player setup once
entering slimserver, let alone from block mode?

Yes, this only affects SB2, but it needs to be fixed in SS.

well, I'm just wondering if how it was possible to trigger an enter to setup mode from software.  I 
thought all methods in were via firmware trips.

Good point.  I thought I left a server command to force a disconnect and to back to setup, but i never 
finished the implementation.  Don't sweat it, I'll handle it.

is press-and-hold left enough now that that feature is in the current firmware for current hardware?

This bug appears to have been fixed in the latest release!

If you are still experiencing this problem, feel free to reopen the bug with your new comments and we'll have another look.

Make sure to include the version number of the software you are seeing the error with.
