When connected to Squeezebox server, and in the Favorites menu on a SqueezeOS
based player, there is no option to Delete Favorites. In fact the Context menu
only shows the Title and the URL. 

When connected to Mysqueezebox.com the options are more advanced, giving the
following options:

Add to End
Play Next
Play
Delete Favorite
Title
URL

There is currently no way to delete favorites from this menu when connected to
Squeezebox Server.

This does not appear to affect IP3K players.
