Squeezeplay desktop showing "unable to play file type for: mms ..." error

Problem:

The squeezeplay desktop produces errors against ALL local New Zealand radio
stations with the message that announces a failure to play certain file types.
The message annoyingly fades out after a few seconds - a dialog box would be
better (another bug?)

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Sqeeezeplay.app
2. Select Internet Radio -> Local (Auckland is displayed)
3. Browse to Radio New Zealand National and click to select.

Result: A brief message is displayed before annoyingly fading:

"Unable to play file type for: mms://wms-rnz-all.streaming.net.nz/rnz-natrad" -
see attached screenshot (which was mighty difficult to capture because of the
brief appearance of the error, I might add).

This problem occurs with the majority of all NZ local radio stations. Stations
that do play are either playing at high speed or, conversely, too low a speed.
The ones that do play properly I'm not at all interested in.
