From the Home menu if I select Favorites and Press and hold a Favorite item (that is from a music service) until the context menu pops up, there is not an option at the bottom of the context menu to  Delete Favorite

Can you give more details? What specific service and type of item?

With 7.6 I find that I can delete any favourite that I am able to add, but I cannot always add favourites where I think I should be able to.

I do have one music service item in my favourites that I cannot delete. It is a Rhapsody / My Library / Artists / <artist> item. Also, however, I am unable to add any more such items as favourites as I do not get a context menu for the relevant menu item.

This is also relevant to onebrowser because the treatment of favourites is revisited there.
