The little album art icons in the touch skin browse list are cool when you're three feet from the screen, but the slightly larger ones in the remote skin are unparseable blobs of color when you're ten feet away.  I'd rather get rid of them and have more space for text.

Agreed.  I think some beta testers had recommended this, but it got lost in the shuffle.  More room for text would be better in this view.
