Bugzilla – Bug 16071
Alarm Clock: timeout doesn't work in some cases (unreproducable)
Last modified: 2010-09-15 02:11:02 UTC
The timeout is set to 30 minutes, so the Boom should go back to standby/off mode after 30 minutes. Since Version 7.5 the Boom doesn't turn off after alarm. The bug is unproducable, sometimes the timeout works, sometimes not. Maybe there is a problem with updateing the configuration from mySB-Server or mySB.com.
alarm times out after 60 minutes (default setting), but Boom doesn't go to standby, still is "on" and stands in menu. Updated config from mySB.com, but doesn't change the behavior.
Updated alarm volume setting from Boom UI ('cause from mySB-com 15 isn't available). This morning everthing worked fine. Will see tomorrow.
I have this problem as well. I have been using the Boom for two years and recently the alarm has not been timing out but it is an intermittent problem. More often than not it does turn off as expected. I have had one morning where it turned off after 60 minutes when the setting was for 90 minutes.
Since this week the problems didn't occur anymore. Very strange. The alarm and timeout work as they shoud. Can someone validate that? Shall/Can I close the bug report?
Biermichel - almost all this week the timeout has NOT being turning off the alarm for me. So for me it is still a bug.
Okay. Hope one of the developers will have a look at this.
Not sure why the status has been changed to the Slimserver from Boom. My problems have been when using mySB.com not Slimserver.
Changed product. SB Boom connected to mySB.com. I had the problem this morning, same behaviour, alarm doesn't tund off. Maybe this bug is a dublicate now, I found a lot of alarm bug reports concerning that. So the bug is still alive, for me too.
Thank you for not checking this bug-report.
