(Using SqueezePlay on Windows - 7.5.1 build April 13 2010 03:06.)

Whenever I try to install any Applets I just get "Downloading Applets" with a spinning circle. After a while if I click the page it goes back to the install applet screen again. I try to install again and it shows "Downloading" again for a second and then "Restart application to make use of new applets". However the applets are never installed.

Running SP specifically as administrator cures the issue. NB I am logged on as an admin user, it's just that apps don't get admin privs by default in Win7.

I logged this in http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=77048 and a relevant reply might be:

"this is a bug - we need applets to be installed into a writable location for windows users who are not admin..."

Yes this is due to applets being installed to the same location as the default applets.  This will cause problems as the program file directory should not be written to by non admin tasks.
