Description Walker LaRon 2010-04-12 12:34:44 UTC
After reviewing how the SD Card and USB drives work in TinySC with the team, we have found that the "Unsupported Disk Format" should be clearer.

From our understanding, this error can occur from 2 things.

1. If a SD card or USB drive is ejected improperly from the SB Touch.

2. When an unsupported formatted storage device is attached

-What exactly does TinySC do to the storage media?

-Is the only thing that happens here is that the Touch Server library file get corrupt?

-Does the actual index on the storage device get corrupt?

-What happens if if this error occurs on the Touch, and this same storage device is plugged into a computer? (I know this can vary for different OSs)

Is it unreadable?

Per Dan, if we are able to recreate the SB Touch corrupting disks, this is a critical bug that our Engineers need to address.

There is always some small risk of completely corrupting a drive if you do not properly eject it. This is true for any PC too. That's why there is a warning shown every time you connect something.

TinySC will not be updated any more.
