Bugzilla – Bug 16024
preset buttons on Touch remote no longer work
Last modified: 2011-11-13 03:29:01 UTC
Before the last update or two version 7.5 the Touch remote numbered buttons worked fine Now I bought this remote to work with my Radio. Cause it has alphabet and numeric keys. Like how "favorites" buttons work now though Otherwise have to get up and push the side buttons on the Radio itself. Please fix. Thank you
If I understand correctly, there is no way to control Presets from any remote. Front panel buttons are Presets, the numbered buttons on IR remotes are for Favorites.
If indeed this is a "planned" change in behavior, then somehow this should be communicated to users. Also, seems that against a Boom the number keys still call up presets, so would expect same behavior against the Radio.
YES the numbers 1 thru 6 or more worked fantastic on my Touch remote ( I bought 2 of them from Logitech recently) till the last update or two Now they no longer work.........Duh yes Favorites button works but I can not see that far away to read my Favorites.... I have so many Thanks Jean
QA to determine what the buttons do on all our players (presets, favorites, or other), and we will make the Radio match.

There is a thread about it on the forum: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?p=659239#post659239 As a workaround I've posted a boot file in that thread that should help modify the Shortcut lua file to enable the remote presets again, if you are not comfortable editing the file manually through ssh.
Unassigned bugs cannot have a priority.
