Bugzilla – Bug 16001
resume from pause for alarm using current playlist
Last modified: 2010-04-14 14:04:53 UTC
Version: 7.5.0 - r30427 @ Tue Mar 30 03:14:47 PDT 2010 for server Firmware: 7.5.0-r8672 for radios The issue unfolds as follows: -Sleep takes effect T minutes into a track (ex. 30) -Alarm wakes up at the beginning of a track Assumptions leading to report of issue: I am assuming sleep is supposed to just pause the current playback and alarm resumes whatever the current playback is. If it doesn't work that way, I'm sorry and I'll change this to an enhancement. What this means to me: I primarily listen to audio-books on by bedroom squeezebox or at least I'd like to. Instead of progressing through the book from one day/night to the next it is now always reset to the beginning. I am now very well versed in the introductory chapter to Plutarch's works. Best Regards, Rudy Fink
Works as designed. The alarm, when given "current playlist" as the coice of sound will simply start playing the currently active playlist. It is not intended to resume. In fact, there is a bit of effort in place to ensure a specific state of the player so that playback can start as reliably as possible (ie, powered on and stopped) moving to an enhancement.
