I had the alarm set to fade in and the alarm volume set about 10-15% to wake me up gently. The alarm was set to play a favorite radio station.

The alarm came on at the correct time and faded in but it seems that when the volume setting was reached the alarm suddenly switched to the DEMO music not the standard beep beep of the fallback alarm and the volume also jumped up to the default alarm volume (much louder).

When the alarm switches to the 'DEMO'-music this is the fallback alarm (the 'beep beep' only comes in VERY rare conditions anymore on the Radio).

I guess this is because there was a short network dropout.

So all this sound pretty expected.
If this happens again, you should enable remote access to your Radio (advanced settings), connect to it with a tool like 'WinSCP' and download the /var/log/messages file.
In there you might find an explanation (or post it on the forum to get help).

If you see this regularly, we should probably try to work out what there is about your setup that causes it.
