Description nicholastang 2010-04-01 19:54:51 UTC
I just got a Transporter and besides hooking it up to the SqueezeBox server running ALAC, I also hook up my CD player as a transport so that it can use the Transporter's DAC.

I am having trouble defeating the Transporter's volume control when the RCA Coax Digital inputs is active. That's despite me setting "Output Level fixed at 100%" in SB Server.

I use my preamp to control volume and the transporter's output is fixed when I stream from SB Server but NOT when I switch to CD Transport...when CD is playing, I can still adjust the volume via the transporter which i DONT want.

Any idea? I am running:

Version: 7.4.3 - r30375 @ Wed Mar 31 03:06:19 PDT 2010
Operating system: Windows XP - EN - cp1252
Platform Architecture: 586
Perl Version: 5.10.0 - MSWin32-x86-multi-thread
MySQL Version: 5.0.22-community-nt

Player Model: transporter
Firmware: 80
Voltage: 233

This is not a bug with the bug tracking system, so I'm changing the 'product' setting.

Hi

You mentioned that this is not a bug. Am i to understand that this is the way the product is supposed to work?
Comment 3 Andy Norman 2010-04-05 02:12:15 UTC
Chris wasn't saying that it wasn't a bug. He was saying that you had selected the wrong Product type from the list when submitting the bug, you must have chosen "bugs.slimdevices.com" as the product, indicating that the bug you were raising was an issue with the bug tracking system itself.

Chris's comment was simply to explain that he had changed the Product type to "SB Transporter" for you.
