Browse to Library: can't see below home dir

1) Installed Fedora 12 on Intel box - creates a basic User (pchand)

2) copy music files to: /home/pchand/music/

3) installed SB server and any dependencies (success)

4) launch browser and go to: LOCALHOST:9000

5) click on the Settings buttin (lower right)

6) On the music folder field, click "Browse"

7) folder tree can see the 'Home' directory, but click in the 'expand' or
plus-sign and there are not subdirectory (path should be /home/pchand/music)

8) It does not let you manually enter the correct path

9) The user can only create new items or folders in the /home/pchand/directory
so the SB server can never find the music files.

10) see attached

SB server runs as user:squeezeboxserver and group:squeezeboxserver. That user needs read access to your music folder.
