Description KB Lee 2010-03-12 00:53:17 UTC
My music collection is organized into directories. Generally one directory per CD album. Each directory contains

(1) a FLAC image - CDImage.flac
(2) a cue file - CDImage.cue in UTF-8 encoding
(3) Album art - cover.jpg

In 7.4.x, the scanned music that contains non-English chars would end up mangled. I am now using SB 7.3.3, which happens to be the last SB release that could handle unicode playlist correctly in my use case.

Please help to fix this. Thanks.

The cue sheet in UTF-8 encoding.

The cuesheet might also be stored in unicode directory name. No idea if unicode directory tree is part of the cause.

Does the present released 7.5.2 contain fix for this bug?

Please try with the latest 7.6.
Comment 7 KB Lee 2011-09-03 18:56:18 UTC
I am glad to report release 7.6.1 fixed this problem. Thanks to the development team. Now I can go ahead to look into replacing my aging black SB2 with newer models from the SB range.

Again, thank you.
