Description Cory Nielsen 2010-03-04 17:02:18 UTC
Testing installation of the 7.0.0 - r30311 build on Windows XP32 Pro:

The scan that runs after first setting the Music Folder and Playlists Folder from the Control Panel does not find playlists in subdirectories. During my testing, I used the following location for both Music Folder and Playlists Folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\My Music

There were several playlist files (.wpl) in the following directory:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\My Music\Sample Playlists\0014E27F

If I initiate a subsequent Rescan (using any of the three options presented in the dropdown), the playlists then display correctly.

Correction: this was found while testing with 7.5.0 - r30311.

After more testing, I believe this behavior is a by-product of the issue described in bug 15838.
