Description Mikkel Herold 2010-03-03 03:13:13 UTC
With the two latest firmware upgrades (I am currently on 8610), I have had frequent problems rebooting the Controller.

After both firmware upgrades, the Controller froze on wither the Logitech logo or a black screen. I could press and hold down the Home button for 10-15 seconds, and the Controller would turn off, after which it could boot up normally (although boot time seems to be longer than before?).

I also have the problem on other occassions: Sometimes audio playback stops (i.e. no sound) when I listen to music using the headphone jack, and the only solution is to reboot the Controller - sometimes it reboots without problems, and sometimes it halts on either the Logitech logo or the "Free your music" screen.

As mentioned, I have only had the problem with the latest two firmware versions - before, it was fine.

Please contact Logitech Technical Support to address this issue. Given the symptoms, it appears to be a hardware issue, although more diagnosis is needed.
