I suggest that you use Javascript to update the Web Interface's <title> tag with the current song playing using your settings defined in Settings > Player > Title Format.

I work from my laptop and with wireless headphones so am rarely near my Squeezebox Boom. Having the Song Title appear in my always open Web Interface tab would be great.
