Description Toby 2010-02-15 05:27:29 UTC
RadioTime's new track info screen is neat (You May Also Like....., Report a Problem...., etc...)

BUT, it lacks the most basic info for streams:
- file format
- bitrate

Suggestions (from the new RadioTime track info screen):
1. Add the "More Info" option to display such basic info
2. Add file format and bitrate directly on to RadioTime's new track info screen
3. Indicate which stream I am currently listening to in RadioTime track info > Other Streams > *place a bullet next to the stream I am currently listening too*

the trackinfo api uses most available metadata. If this is not showing, are we sure it's being sent by the radiotime streams?

Yes, bitrate metadata is being sent by RadioTime.
Go to any RadioTime stream, play it. From NP screen, arrow BACK to the stream list, hover over stream, press "+" (or press & hold knob), scroll down to end, there is the URL and bitrate.

I don't recall ever seeing format type on RadioTime streams though.
