Description Kevin Pearsall 2005-05-18 11:15:02 UTC
it's been playing for several minutes now... even though i signed off.

was playing a 128kbps station, so i suppose it could still be playing out of the
buffer... but anyway shouldn't it stop when you sign off?
Comment 1 Vidur Apparao 2005-05-18 17:24:25 UTC
What menu/message did you see after signing off?
Comment 2 Kevin Pearsall 2005-05-19 10:07:14 UTC
well when i was seeing this behavior before, it was going back to the setup menu
and just playing music there.

but now it keeps reconnecting to a different server which stops the playback.

shouldn't the playback stop immediately when you press right on signoff? cuz
for me it's still playing out while saying Connecting to SlimServer..., until it
says Now Playing on the server it finds...

ok here we go.

- reset player to factory default
- set up player and connect to squeezenetwork but NOT a local server (for some
reason the first time i try to connect it didn't work, both of the times i tried
this--had to go to the main menu and press right on connect to squeezenetwork
both times)
- play an internet radio station
- use the Sign off option on the main menu
- you will be playing that internet radio station indefinitely on the setup menu
now.

the server should send a stop to the player before telling it where to go. (both SN and SS)

Fixed on next push out of the service.
