Description Johan Franzn 2004-01-22 02:06:57 UTC
When I "browse artwork" only the cover art which slimserver have already
showed me (when I've browsed by artist/album) will show up. I'm using the
cover art specifyer "%ARTIST - ALBUM". I've rescanned my music library to
no avail. The mp3 tag database is set to cache.

I'm using nightly build 2004-01-21 installed on top of 2004-01-15.
The slim server is running as an auto-starting service on my w2k machine.
Comment 1 Johan Franzn 2004-01-22 02:08:53 UTC
The cover art specifyer is used for the cover art as well as the cover art thumbs.

Browse artwork uses thumbnails, so you have to set thumbnail image to %ARTIST -
ALBUM if those are the only images you have. You will also want to turn off MP3
Tag Caching and rescan, since the DB will be stale. After rescan, you should be
able to turn the db cache back on. If this still doesn't work, erase the
slimserver.db file and rescan.

clearing the old DBcache solved it.
Comment 4 Chris Owens 2006-06-16 14:40:10 UTC
There are 536 bugs in the database with targets of '---' that were fixed prior to new year 2006. I am setting them to targets of 6.2.1 to keep them from showing up in my queries.
