Description Paul Webster 2010-01-19 01:01:29 UTC
When using a Reciva-based internet radio to play stream.mp3 from SlimServer (stream.mp3) there is a digital chirp every few seconds.
Diagnostics by "deggy" reported on Reciva forum has shown that removing the icy-name field from the SlimServer source code reported as removing the problem.

i.e. in Silm/Web/HTTP.pm commenting out
$response->header("icy-name"    => string('WELCOME_TO_SQUEEZEBOX_SERVER'));

WIth this change - the track titles continue to appear correctly on the device - without any chirping - so clearly part of the meta data is not causing any problems.

Is there possibly a mistake in how the stream title is sent as meta data - perhaps length info not done correctly.
