Description wwestjr 2010-01-09 12:14:53 UTC
Please consider an "on/off" switch for the new (March release date?) for the battery. I am experiencing more and more that laptop batteries (indeed all battery enabled devices) are getting less battery life than I expected because the unit is mostly plugged in the outlet. I understand that one solution (laptop) is to disconnect the battery (removable) while the unit in plugged in to the outlet. I find this inconvenient; let's start a trend to let the battery stay charged but NOT trickle charge. Then when I do need the battery to have a full chargeI will not have the experience of a half used battery that was never really used to begin with; I have a longer life for the battery. Just a thought.
