after upgrading to 7.4.0 i found that my remote had stopped working.  replaced the batteries but this did not help.  i noticed that there is this entry in the release notes:
#  Resolved issue with blank screen or inoperative remote with Squeezebox 2/3, Boom, Transporter or Classic after upgrading to 7.4.0 

however, upgrading to 7.4.1 did not resolve my issue, and the remote is still inoperative.

Please call support. This must be a problem with your installation, and not a general issue.
