SSODS.pm patch against SBS 7.5-trunk

Hello

The attached patch adds the following customisations for SSODS, SSOTS, SSOEZ
and SSOXX (the various flavours of SSODS) to SBS:

- server restart via the SBS settings menu (e.g. when enabling/disabling a
plugin)
- directories-to-ignore lists for the setup wizard
- keep logfiles small and do a rotation functionality

This replaces the SSODS parts of the Synology.pm module I wrote before. The
Synology.pm module would still detect Synology's and Optware's SBS
installations. The customisations there are: directory ignore lists and small
log files, i.e. no server restart.

Regards,
flip

You should include this in your distribution as Custom.pm. Easier for you to upgrade, less compatibility issues when updating SSODS et al. and less hassle for us to keep our repository up to date...

See http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/Customizing_Squeezebox_Server_using_Slim::Utils::OS::Custom for more details

OK, I'll try that.
Do you want to remove the Synology.pm then?
Comment 3 Michael Herger 2010-01-01 11:55:35 UTC
I think we can leave it in, as it serves more than your distribution.

flipflip - I'm closing this bug, ok? Please let me know if there's anything else I can do for you. Thanks!
