It gets stuck on whatever last is in the list?

I'm no longer sure this is related to local media, but rather some invalid entry in the list of items to be displayed. Just experienced the same with a web list where one entry wasn't an image, but rather the list itself (a text file). The viewer probably wouldn't trigger another download if one file fails to display?

Fixed Bug: 15348
Description: add more sanity checking before displaying an image. Don't stop the slide show on invalid image objects. Show error message and continue with next image.

This bug has been marked fixed in a released version of Squeezebox Server or the accompanying firmware or mysqueezebox.com release.
