Description Vic Wong 2009-12-18 15:00:54 UTC
Error message isn't shown when the skip limit is reached. The ff button greys out. The remote ff button causes the audio to cut out for a second. Should show the error message when I press the grey on-screen button or the remote skip button.

As always, Andy, let me know if this isn't in your arena.
Comment 3 Ryan 2010-02-01 13:54:57 UTC
replicating this I have seen the skip limit error displayed for just an instant (to fast to read) when the limit has been reached. I have seen the error message displayed when I have gone to another station and then come back.

That sounds more like a squeezeplay display issue, then.

Fixed Bug: 15336
Description: don't consume touch event on disabled fwd and rew buttons
FWIW, I think this is an odd route to take with a disabled button, but it's the only way to generate the error message from the server side
Comment 6 Chris Owens 2010-04-08 17:26:47 UTC
This bug has been marked fixed in a released version of Squeezebox Server or the accompanying firmware or mysqueezebox.com release.

If you are still seeing this issue, please let us know!
