No indicator of thumbs status is shown on rated tracks. (recommended: checkmark over the icon, or thumbs watermark behind track info). Look for the trackRating attribute in the playlist items.

double check to make sure our 'thumbs up' indicator on the status menu is working; and the showbriefly as well.

Context menu ('+' button) lists 'Rating: Thumbs Up' as the first item if a song has been previously rated.  The showbriefly does appear, reading "Cool, we'll try to play similar songs." or "We won't play this song again."

This seems to satisfy what we talked about on the phone.  Please let me know if additional changes are needed!

You may note that I am not marking these bugs 'Fixed'.  Our process is that only if a bug is marked fixed by a developer with a specific checkin should it be marked 'Fixed.'  So, bugs that have been fixed as a 'side effect' of some other change get marked 'worksforme'.
