Bugzilla – Bug 15306
Unable to allocate from the system nonpaged pool because the pool was empty
Last modified: 2019-01-25 12:11:14 UTC
Several times the server has got into a state where it get stuck in a loop when trying to display menu items to the clients, ie pressing Right just brings you to the same point. It's not possible to even stop the Srv process when in this state and onlt a reboot of the computer seems to fix the problem. Source: Srv The server was unable to allocate from the system nonpaged pool because the pool was empty. 0000: 00 00 04 00 01 00 54 00 ......T. 0008: 00 00 00 00 e3 07 00 c0 ....ã..À 0010: 00 00 00 00 9a 00 00 c0 ....?..À 0018: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ........ 0020: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ........ 0028: 02 00 00 00 Version: 7.4.1 - r28947 @ Tue Oct 20 08:13:15 PDT 2009 Hostname: hp-tower Server IP Address: 192.168.1.1 Server HTTP Port Number: 9000 Operating system: Windows XP - EN - cp1252 Platform Architecture: 586 Perl Version: 5.10.0 - MSWin32-x86-multi-thread MySQL Version: 5.0.22-community-nt Total Players Recognized: 2
do you have any 3rd party plugins installed? Looking at the task manager: what's SB's memory usage?
Created attachment 6383 [details] Lits of plugins Memory usage at 136,984 K. Plugins screenshot attached

The error message you posted: are you sure it's related to SBS at all? Anything in server.log?
Created attachment 6384 [details] Server Log This PC is dedicate to running SqueezeCenter so I'm pretty sure this is a Squeeze Server problem. Server.log attached Problem occurred around 23:30 on the 15th Dec
I think you should contact support or ask in the forums with more information about your system, installed memory, configurtion, antivirus etc. I don't see anything which would cause a crash in the server.log Keep an eye on SBS' memory usage when you see this happen again.
QA will keep an eye out for additional cases of this
