Bugzilla – Bug 15299
Editing Favorites
Last modified: 2010-02-08 09:56:47 UTC
While adding a favorite is very easy, finding where and how to edit/delete the list of favorites is not. On the Home menu in SBS, "Favorites" appears to be just one item as any of the others (My Music, Internet Radio, My Apps, Favorites, Extras). The user has to mouse over the Favorites item and then notice that here (unlike the other Home menu items), and "Edit" button appears inline next to "favorites". Clicking on it will then allow the user to edit the Favorites. It is my opinion the "Edit" Option should always be visible next to Favorites, or some other option should show that the Favorites item is editable and Thus different. The other option is to add an "Edit Favorites" option somewhere in "Settings"(Advanced/Favorites at the very least?). In my opinion the user interface to edit Favorites is not very intuitive. Incidentally I also think there should be a more intuitive way to edit the content of the My Apps and Extras and perhaps all the menus in the Home screen to the user's liking. But that is a separate issue.
