Bugzilla – Bug 1529
jump to letters in Browse Music Folder look messed up sometimes
Last modified: 2008-09-15 14:37:04 UTC
Customer reported. Says it only occurs in browse music folder, not elsewhere. Comes up like: A B T B T B C D T D T D T E F T F T G H L H I J K L M T M T M T N T N O P T P T P T P T P Q R T R S T S T U V T V W T W T Y Still trying to isolate this... Dean had a theory that it might happen only if there are actual songs in the top level music folder, in addition to the folders. So that's what I'm trying now...
I'm the customer who reported this problem. There are no files in the top level music folder, only directories.
is is possible to get a screenshot of the directory listing with the wrong letters? This is similar to a previous bug (bug 1299), but that case was fixed prior to 6.0.2, in trunk at change 3017, 6.0.2 at change 3020
Created attachment 517 [details] Screenshot of browse music folder with too many 'T's
This is happening on a nightly build downloaded on 5/10/05, Server Settings says "SlimServer Version: 6.0.3 - trunk." Let me know if that isn't the screenshot you're interested in.
Created attachment 518 [details] Windows directory listing Here's the full contents of the music folder root. Note that the SlimServer is actually running on Linux, as is the file system - it's mapped via SMB to Windows.
thanks. I meant the slimserver page for the screenshot. Tho the folder listing is also useful for comparing.
committed to 6.1 at change 3174 committed to 6.0.x at change 3175
Verified fix in nightly build. Thanks!
There are 536 bugs in the database with targets of '---' that were fixed prior to new year 2006. I am setting them to targets of 6.2.1 to keep them from showing up in my queries.
