slim.exe service maintains high CPU utilization after WIPE CACHE
Last modified: 2005-05-12 23:34:20 UTC
When doing a WIPE CACHE the slim.exe service CPU utilization goes around 90%. It stays at this utilization until the service is stopped and restarted at which time it rests at 0%. Just FYI - This is somewhat troublesome because in order to update my library with new folders I must do a wipe cache (rescan does not find them - bug 1507). Windows XP Pro SP2 will all current updates AMD Athalon 1200Mhz 1GB RAM
My bad. I've done further testing with this and the slim.exe service would eventually stop it's high CPU utilization at 20 minutes for my large library of >15,000 files. It only took it a couple of minutes to get the folder/file structure together so I thought it should have been done. Also for reference my slimserevrsql.db file grew to 14.2MB.
