I added some new music to a folder outside my main music library.
The tracks are referenced using playlists.

A playlist only rescan did not pick up the tracks.
A scan for recently changed items did not pick up the playlists.

I had to do a library clear/full rescan to get the new items to appear in the library.

This is with a 7.5 nightly from around 4th/5th December.

Please try with the latest build, and enable the scan debugging options. Then attach the scanner.log file to this bug.

Michael,

This is fixed.
I believe that it may have been realted to other other scanner bug I logged, which you fixed this week.

I'm actually surprised that n one else logged a bug on this.
