Bugzilla – Bug 15277
When rescanning - artwork scan remaining time overflows
Last modified: 2011-05-12 15:42:48 UTC
Created attachment 6375 [details] Screenshot showing erroneous number Perform a clear and rescan. On the Status tab in the Windows control panel there is a progress bar. At the right is an elapsed time number. On my system, during the artwork scan, this number shows incorrectly, not a time. The enclosed screen shot shows the problem. The seconds number goes down rather than up (or actually it does go up because it is negative!) When the web UI shows elapsed time as 27:28, the control panel shows 1:78:-3480 (roughly ...)
is this reproducible or did you see it just once?
(In reply to comment #1) > is this reproducible or did you see it just once? It appears to be reproducible. I just ran another scan and watched it happen. It happens when the hour rolls up from 0 to 1. The hour goes up correctly but the seconds goes negative. I think the seconds field has had an hour subtracted from it. Incidentally, in the initial report, I hadn't realised that the hour and minutes shown on the control panel are probably correct: it is only the seconds that are wrong. (the numbers I gave from the web ui are for the artwork phase only while the control panel shows total time).
