Bugzilla – Bug 15250
iTunes artwork displays on the Server UI, but not the Controller
Last modified: 2011-01-14 00:57:53 UTC
A customer reported this issue to me and he also states that there are other users in the forum experiencing the same issue. The customer that reported it to me has also found a couple of work arounds for the issue. Below is his latest response to me verbatim. I am using iTunes on a PC running XP Pro. The downloaded artwork is still visible in iTunes. The artwork was visible in my Logitech controller for the first day of installation (a few days ago). My hand controller updated its software during the first day and the artwork disappeared. If you go to your forum you will find some form of this problem to be common with the controllers after the upgrade. I have done a number of soft and hard resets on both the controller and the receiver. I have also done a number of erase and rescan everything from the Server. Everything works fine at this point just NO artwork. I have found a very labor intensive (over 12,000 CD's) solution. If I.... 1. I can scan the artwork from the CD and cut and paste into iTunes it will show in the controller after rescan Or 2. I Cut/paste artwork from the web into iTunes it will show in the controller after rescan Or 3. I Cut/Paste the "downloaded" artwork from within iTunes it will show in the controller after rescan Obviously none of these solutions are acceptable, but it might help you guys debug the software. I might mention that no matter which work around I pick it seems to work 100% of the time.
QA to investigate and repoduce

Maybe this is related: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?p=544359 http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=78419 If so, it is a MySB.com issue (the above is definitely). In short, when accessing internet radio (such as Radio Paradise) over MySB.com the artwork is not updated correctly, neither on the SBC nor on web "Remote Control". When accessing over SBS, it works fine. Steps to reproduce is given through the links above. This is with SBS 7.5.0 - r30464, SBC 7.5.0 - r8673, MySB.com at 89.202.121.131
