Description Sarah Waldmann 2009-12-03 17:57:16 UTC
Bug from MP3tunes -

But unfortunately we already have a problem: it doesn't seem to recognize the My Squeezebox account info I enter - it tells me the account is invalid somehow, even though I verify that I'm logged in on a browser and double checked what I enter on the device. I've also tried creating a new account on the device, but I run into a similar error on My Squeezebox with something about the account not being valid. Any advice?

Next mesage from MP3tunes -

Since I had set up several test MSB accounts during our recent QA, etc., I first just tried on the device to use one of those:

logi11@tunesqa.com, pw: test111
logi12@tunesqa.com, pw: test111

but received errors about the email or account not being valid.

I then set up a new MSB account on the device:

logi33@tunesqa.com, pw: test111

but I'm unable to login at MSB with that info. I get the error: "The username or password you provided is incorrect."

Please define "it": are you enterint credentials on the device? On SBS? On MySB.com?

Also: make sure the account exists on test.mysqueezebox.com. fab4/SBS 7.5 are pointing to the test instance, not production systems. I checked the two accounts, and they do _not_ exist on test.mysb.com, while the third does.

IMHO this was confusion/mis-information: those two accounts do exist on production systems, but not test. fab4 needs to be tested against test.sn.com.
